The design study was based on the following elements of knowledge: • Review of existing documents, project drawings, and calculation reports, including any new work carried out; • Visual inspection of the two catwalks by our second-level inspectors; • Thickness measurement, durometer measurement, and ultrasound inspection reports of the components of these structures. Based on the aforementioned knowledge, the values of the resistant cross-sections and the resistance characteristics were estimateci, which then allowed far the modeling of the existing structure and the subsequent structural analysis. This paper describes and evaluates the results of the structural analysis, providing recommendations far interventions to make the structures safe so that they can perform their intended purpose within the assigned safety margins required by technical construction standards using assessment procedures. © 2025 TEKNEENGINEERING
